Abstract
Every organization experiences periods of change, some of which have a wide-reaching impact while others are more contained. However, these changes can disrupt employees, customers, and other stakeholders, causing excitement to turn into anxiety. Unfamiliar processes, fear of the unknown, and resistance to change can hinder the potential benefits, regardless of the scale of the changes. In today's fast-paced world where change is happening at an unprecedented rate, the ability to navigate and manage organizational change is more crucial than ever.
At Roche Diagnostics, the TransformD organizational restructuring has brought significant changes to processes and ways of working. The Digital Lab Program was implemented to streamline R&D processes and invest significantly in digitalization. Organizational change management has been intensified and established as an integrated stream at the program level, with a dedicated team. Both the Business and Informatics departments have collaborated through OCM leads to drive engagement and adoption of digital tools.
